BIOGRAPHY

Being an active runner for over 23 years, Gordon has competed both individually and on teams in many events. He has been associated with local running clubs, and served as board member of Portland Running Club and Oregon Road Runners Club. He has served as the ORRC Executive Director. He has over 18 years experience as a Race Director, having produced several large events, such as the Trail's End Marathon, Great Columbia Crossing, Mt. Rainier to the Pacific Relay. He has produced and directed many Portland metro area events. Gordon has also contracted for event production services in other locations: Roseburg, Eugene, Keizer, Hood River and Gresham.

Gordon gained 27 years business experience as an operational supervisor in a large financial institution. He has degrees in Banking, Finance and Business Management. This background has been very useful in event production; budgeting, logistical planning, time scheduling, activity coordination, etc.

He is a current board member of the Gecko Tri Club, a multi-sport training club. He is an avid bicyclist, having competed in several multi-sport and long distance cycle events.

Gordon is now associated with many area events, including runs, walks, long distance relays and triathlons. He is also a clothing broker, providing screen printed and embroidered garments to a wide variety of clients.
