BIOGRAPHY

As an active runner, Gordon competed both individually and on teams for many years. He has long been associated with area running and triathlon clubs. He served as Executive Director of Oregon Road Runners Club and directed several large events, such as the Trail's End Marathon, Great Columbia Crossing and Mt Rainier to Pacific Relay. In 1999 he began EventMgnt.com and totally produced many ElM events and handled' race management services for several events throughout Oregon and Washington. Gordon's extensive business experience as an operational supervisor in a large financial institution, and degrees in Banking and Finance and Business Management have been very useful in event production, budgeting, logistical planning, time scheduling, activity coordination, etc.

SERVICES

Races- Race services are being limited to equipment rentals and production of the Champoeg Half Marathon. Gordon continues as Start-Finish Area Coordinator for the Portland Marathon. Some other events have been spun off to new event directors. Clothing Sales- Gordon's experience with clothing purchase, screen printing and embroidery has developed into a meaningful business segment of EventMgnt.com. Merchandise includes t-shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, caps and other clothing or promotional items. Sales of such goods are to area businesses, heallh clubs, and rUlUlingibicycle related events. Volume buying power, wholesale screen print prices, and low overhead allow Gordon to garner substantial savings on clothing orders for customers. Bike Rack Rentals- Part of the company's equipment inventory includes bike racks. While originally designed and used for ElM triathlons, bike racks are also rented to other bicycle related tours and community celebrations for general bike parking at the event site and rest stops. Some such events are Portland Sunday Parkways, The Bite, Blues Festival, Portland Century, Tour de Lab, and others.
